Slackware Linux

Slackware is Harry's favourite Linux distribution when it comes to building simple dedicated systems. Slackware is easy to customise and is generally regarded as very stable.

SlimCar was built by taking a working Slackware installation and gutting it to remove unnecessary services and supporting files, then adding a custom kernel, boot scripts, a web interface written in PHP and SqueezeCenter.
