Beginning with the 6.5 release of SqueezeCenter, Slim Devices changed the database backend from SQLite to MySQL. MySQL is a more advanced relational database with many more features than SQLite.

At present, SlimCar (0.12 at time of writing) uses SlimServer 6.3.3. An upgrade to the 6.5 branch (and hence MySQL) is high on the priority list, but the new database increases OS footprint and makes synchronisation a bit more tricky...
